Wednesday, January 8th, 2014

Hello New Year,

As a purveyor of fine, raw meat products for dogs and cats, I’m excited for your arrival. To honor you, 2014, Moe’s Meats is inviting dog owners to offer raw meat bones to their 4 legged friends. In stock we carry chicken feet – AWESOME for strengthening cartilage and bone, chicken backs – GREAT filling meals, and turkey necks – PERFECT teeth and gum cleaners. As a snack, we carry rec bones – which make the BEST boredom relievers.

We sell our bones by the case and you have the option of purchasing them as a solid block or already broken up.

Send us an email or give us a call with questions and orders. And have a FANTASTIC new year.

Whole Young Turkey Necks and Chicken Backs

Sunday, June 27th, 2010

Currently we have lots of turkey necks and chicken backs, already packaged for ease of feeding (meaning we don’t sell them in 40 pound frozen blocks) for sale. The turkey necks are about 2.25 pounds per package as are the chicken backs.

This is a great way for your dog to get the complete marrow of the bone, the cleaning of the teeth and the exercise of the jaw, all in one meal.

Human Point of View: Components of the Raw Meat Diet

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008

Satchel asked me to blog about what raw meaty bits are included in the raw meat diet. Before I list everything below, let me first shout out to Moe for lending today’s blog space – you’re the best Moe!!!

Raw Meaty Bones
Chicken, turkey, duck, and pork necks, chicken feet, chicken backs and wings, rabbit

Ground Raw Meat
Chicken, turkey, duck, bison, venison, and pretty much any animal that most Americans would eat. These always contain ground bone and you have the option to include organ meats (liver, kidney, heart, gizzard).

Crushed Veggies
All fruits and veggies onions, grapes, raisins, corn cobs…. Try to get organic whenever possible.

Rec Bones
Knuckle bones, knee bones and mysterious joints of animals. These are like TV for your dog.

Wholesome Table Scarps – in small quantity
Garlic, oatmeal, eggs with shell, rice, toast crusts, grains (great source of carbohydrates), non-yeast bread, couscous. And remember, organic is best – no nasty chemicals.
